Our History
For the turbocharger technology, we make not inconsiderable efforts in order to achieve or exceed the quality requirements of the serial manufacturers.
The turbocharger repair of VNT / VTG types in particular is very extensive and demanding and requires a lot more than just replacing the bearings or replacing the core of the turbo.
Our turbocharger repair area is equipped with all the necessary high-precision machines: flowbench, measuring equipment 1/1000, rotor balancing machine, VSR balancing machine (up to 280,000rpm), CNC lathe, CNC milling machine, etc..
On stock we have available over 4000 spare parts for all common turbochargers. This enables us to guarantee turbocharger repairs often within 24 hours or to provide one of 500 replacement turbochargers instantly.
In addition to repairing turbochargers, the owner of Turbotek Ltd. is also involved in the development of high-quality turbocharger spare parts. In this context, we conducted various functional tests for some manufacturers of turbocharger parts and suggested design changes or improvements that were also applied. One of these manufacturers has become a leading supplier of turbocharger spare parts.
In 2011, Turbotek’s owner developed its own flowbench principle for calibrating VTG turbochargers in a joint venture. The adaptation and measurement principle was unique at the time and our company received an order to produce and deliver a flowbench for the company BOSCH. Obviously the idea was so good that the adaptation and measurement principle have been copied several times.
At one moment you come to a point when you have to choose a direction to follow. On such point came the inquiries from customers to increase the performance which required modification of the turbocharger. We choose the direction with least and less expensive efforts. Whether is for family combinations or for racing, we manufacture upgraded turbochargers for many satisfied customers in both areas. To keep the costs within reasonable limits, we try, whenever possible, to create a commercially available modification so that there are no unmanageable development and production costs. Thаt naturally sets limits to what is feasible, but appeals to the largest customer group.
